Deskhaus Ltd
Company No. 17265970
Unit 9, Harvard Court, Warrington, WA2 8LT
Version: August 2026
Welcome to Deskhaus.
We’ve deliberately tried to keep these Terms & Conditions simple.
Deskhaus is designed to be a friendly, professional and enjoyable place to work. We don't want endless rules or unnecessary small print. Most of what follows is simply about respecting the space, respecting each other and using common sense.
There are, however, a few things we need to be clear about so that you know exactly what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
By becoming a Deskhaus member, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
In these Terms:
Your Deskhaus membership provides you with an allocated dedicated desk for your exclusive working use during your membership.
The standard membership fee is:
There are no additional charges for the normal use of your desk and the standard Deskhaus facilities, except for optional services specifically identified in these Terms or otherwise agreed with you.
Your membership includes:
Your desk is allocated to you and will not be used by another member during your active membership.
You may leave your own monitor, laptop accessories, equipment and other reasonable belongings at your desk or inside your lockable pedestal.
However, anything you leave at Deskhaus remains entirely at your own risk.
Deskhaus provides a coworking membership and permission to use workspace and shared facilities.
Your membership does not create a lease, tenancy or other legal interest in the Premises.
You do not have possession or control of any part of the Premises.
Deskhaus retains overall possession, management and control of the Premises at all times, including the right to enter, inspect, maintain and manage all areas of the Premises.
Your dedicated desk is provided as part of your membership service. Where reasonably necessary for maintenance, safety, operational requirements or another legitimate reason, Deskhaus may temporarily relocate you to a suitable alternative workspace.
You must not assign, transfer, sell, sublicense or otherwise allow another person to take over your membership or dedicated desk without our written agreement.
There is an initial minimum membership period of three calendar months.
Your membership cannot normally be cancelled during this minimum period.
After the initial three-month period has elapsed, your membership continues until either you or Deskhaus ends it in accordance with these Terms.
You must give us one month's written notice if you wish to leave Deskhaus after completing your minimum term.
If notice is given part-way through a month, your membership will continue for the remainder of that month and for the necessary proportion of the following month to complete your full one-month notice period.
Any part-month following the final full calendar month will be charged on a reasonable pro-rata basis based on the £190 monthly membership fee.
Your membership remains active, and these Terms continue to apply, throughout your notice period.
A £190 refundable deposit is payable when joining Deskhaus.
Your deposit is security against unpaid charges, damage or other amounts properly owed to Deskhaus.
Provided your account is fully paid and there are no deductions to be made, we will return your deposit within 7 days of the end of your membership.
We may make reasonable deductions from your deposit for:
We will tell you about deductions made from your deposit.
If the amount owed is less than £190, the remaining balance will be returned to you within 7 days after the end of your membership and the deductions have been calculated.
If the amount owed exceeds £190, your full deposit will be applied against the amount due and we will invoice you for the remaining balance.
That invoice must be paid within 5 days.
The deposit is not intended to be used as your final month's membership payment.
Your deposit and first month's membership payment will initially be made by bank transfer following invoice. Ongoing monthly membership payments will then be collected by Direct Debit.
Monthly membership fees are due on the 1st of each month.
You are responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds and a valid payment arrangement are available. If payment cannot be collected, we will contact you and give you an opportunity to resolve the situation.
If payment remains outstanding for 7 days, Deskhaus may suspend or terminate your membership. Termination for non-payment does not remove your responsibility to pay any membership fees or other sums already due.
Businesses have good months and difficult months. We understand that.
An established member experiencing genuine short-term financial difficulty may ask Deskhaus for a one-month payment holiday. This must be requested and agreed with Deskhaus before the payment becomes overdue.
A payment holiday is not an automatic entitlement and must be approved by Deskhaus.
If approved, your normal membership payment for that month will be deferred and added to the following month's payment, meaning that two months' membership fees will become payable the following month.
A payment holiday does not cancel or reduce the amount owed. It simply offers you time to afford your payments if you are experiencing financial difficulty. If you're struggling, please talk to us early. We'd much rather have a conversation than allow a payment problem to become a bigger one.
Deskhaus is open to members:
Deskhaus is closed:
Our opening hours are intentional. We believe doing great work matters, but so does switching off. Work-Life balance is important. Life is too short to miss the good days, and we feel obligated to help you have a healthy work experience.
Members must leave the Premises by 7:00pm unless attending a Deskhaus-organised event or otherwise specifically authorised by us.
Deskhaus may occasionally need to alter opening hours or temporarily close all or part of the Premises because of maintenance, safety issues, emergencies, circumstances outside our reasonable control or other genuine operational requirements.
Where reasonably possible, we will give members advance notice.
The main access doors will ordinarily be open during Deskhaus operating hours.
Members must not deliberately allow unauthorised people into restricted areas or compromise the security of the Premises.
Please report anything suspicious, unsafe or concerning to Deskhaus.
Although we take reasonable precautions to maintain a safe and secure working environment, Deskhaus is a shared workspace and we cannot guarantee the security of personal possessions.
Lock it away or take it with you if it matters to you.
You are responsible for all equipment and belongings you bring into Deskhaus, including laptops, phones, monitors, chargers, bags, documents and personal possessions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deskhaus accepts no responsibility for theft, loss or accidental damage to members' belongings, and members will have no recourse to challenge Deskhaus or its insurance in this respect. Members should maintain appropriate insurance for their equipment and business activities.
You are also responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of your own data.
Deskhaus will not be responsible for loss of data resulting from equipment failure, internet interruption, power interruption, theft or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Each dedicated desk includes a Deskhaus monitor and HDMI cable.
These remain the property of Deskhaus Ltd.
Please look after them.
You are responsible for damage to Deskhaus equipment caused deliberately, negligently or through misuse by you or your visitors.
Reasonable wear and tear is obviously expected.
Where equipment is damaged beyond reasonable wear and tear, Deskhaus may charge the reasonable cost of repair or replacement and may deduct that amount from your deposit.
Wi-Fi/internet access is included in your membership at no additional charge.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide a reliable internet connection, but we cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or fault-free internet access.
Technology occasionally has a bad day.
Deskhaus will not be liable for loss of business, revenue, profit, opportunity, productivity or data resulting from an interruption to internet services, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Members must use the internet lawfully and responsibly.
You must not use Deskhaus internet services for:
You're welcome to have visitors.
Visitors may attend Deskhaus for:
However, your dedicated desk membership is for you.
Visitors cannot simply use your desk as a free coworking space for the day.
If another desk is available, a visitor may be able to purchase a day pass for that desk for £20. This is subject to availability and must be agreed with Deskhaus.
There are no traditional meeting rooms at Deskhaus, so members must not organise group meetings, training sessions or gatherings at their desks that interfere with the normal coworking environment.
You are responsible for the behaviour of your visitors while they are at Deskhaus.
Any damage or reasonable costs caused by your visitors may be charged to you.
Deskhaus provides a dedicated virtual meeting booth for video meetings, calls and similar activities. This is a high spec space and is fully air conditioned and has sockets and chargers inside.
Use of the booth must be booked in advance.
A fair usage policy applies.
There isn't a complicated formula behind fair usage. It simply means:
Be fair. Be considerate. Don't monopolise it.
The booth is a shared member resource and should be used with common sense and consideration for everybody else who may need it.
The relaxed seating area adjacent to the kitchen is there to be enjoyed.
Members can use it for informal conversations, taking a break, having a coffee, reading or simply getting away from their desk for a while.
Please remember that it remains part of a working environment and use it considerately.
Deskhaus is a social coworking environment. We don't expect silence.
People will talk, laugh, make calls and collaborate.
We simply ask everybody to be considerate.
In particular:
There is no decibel meter and no complicated noise policy.
Use common sense. Be kind. Work happy.
Members may consume food and non-alcoholic drinks at their desks and within the shared areas. The kitchen may be used for preparing food and drinks.
Please clean up after yourself and leave shared facilities as you would like to find them.
When using the microwave, please avoid particularly strong-smelling food where reasonably possible.
Again, consideration for the people around you goes a long way.
Deskhaus intends to hold a member social on the last Friday of each month, normally from 6:00pm until 7:00pm.
Snacks and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks will be provided free as our thanks to our members.
Attendance is entirely optional.
Members choosing to consume alcohol are responsible for doing so sensibly and for ensuring they are able to travel home safely.
Deskhaus may change, postpone or cancel member socials and does not guarantee that a social event will take place every month.
Deskhaus is proudly dog friendly.
We love having well-behaved dogs around the place and believe they can add something special to the working environment.
But being dog friendly only works when everybody uses common sense.
If you bring a dog to Deskhaus:
Dogs displaying aggressive, threatening or persistently disruptive behaviour will not be permitted.
Dogs requiring a muzzle because of known aggressive or dangerous behaviour will not be permitted within the shared workspace.
Deskhaus reserves the right to ask for any dog to be removed where we reasonably believe its presence is unsafe, unsuitable or materially affecting other members.
We also reserve the right to manage the number of dogs in the workspace at any particular time so that being dog friendly remains enjoyable for everyone.
Assistance dogs will, of course, be accommodated in accordance with applicable law.
Deskhaus operates a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy inside the Premises and immediately outside its entrances. This applies equally to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes and vaping devices.
If you wish to smoke or vape, please move well away from the Deskhaus entrance and the entrances of our neighbouring businesses.
There are open parking areas to the side and rear of the offices that can be used where appropriate.
Please dispose of cigarette ends and other waste responsibly.
Deskhaus should be a place where everybody feels comfortable coming to work.
Members and visitors must not engage in:
We reserve the right to intervene where behaviour is having a material negative effect on other members or the safe and reasonable operation of Deskhaus.
For minor issues, we'd normally rather have a conversation first.
For serious situations, we reserve the right to act immediately.
Coworking means working around other people.
From time to time you may accidentally see or overhear information relating to another member's business. Please respect it.
Members must not deliberately access, photograph, record, copy, disclose or misuse another member's private or confidential business information.
Likewise, members are responsible for protecting their own confidential information and should use the virtual meeting booth or other appropriate arrangements where particularly sensitive conversations are taking place.
Deskhaus cannot guarantee complete visual or acoustic privacy within a shared coworking environment.
Members may apply to use the Deskhaus address as their business address for an additional:
This service includes:
This service is only available while your account remains fully paid and your Deskhaus membership or separately agreed address service remains active.
Use of the Deskhaus address must be approved by us before you begin using it.
The Deskhaus address must not be used to apply for loans, finance, credit facilities or other borrowing.
You must not represent that you own the Premises.
When your right to use the address ends, you must promptly remove the Deskhaus address from Companies House, websites, stationery, online listings and all other business records where applicable.
You remain responsible for complying with Companies House, HMRC and any other legal or regulatory requirements relating to your registered or business address.
Deskhaus may accept reasonable mail, parcels and deliveries on behalf of members whose accounts are fully paid. This is provided as a convenience.
Deskhaus will not accept deliveries for any member's contacts, or other third parties. This service exists only for our members.
Acceptance of a parcel by Deskhaus does not make us responsible for its contents.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deskhaus accepts no liability for loss, theft, delay or damage to mail or parcels accepted on a member's behalf.
We may refuse unusually large, dangerous, suspicious, perishable, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate deliveries.
Members should collect items within a reasonable time.
Members are responsible for arranging any insurance reasonably appropriate to their business and activities.
Depending upon your business, this may include:
Your Deskhaus membership does not provide insurance for your business, equipment or possessions in any way.
Please look after the place.
Members are responsible for damage caused by themselves, their visitors or their animals beyond normal reasonable wear and tear.
This includes damage to:
Deskhaus will assess the reasonable cost of repair, replacement or remediation.
Where appropriate, this amount may be deducted from your deposit.
If the reasonable cost exceeds your deposit, the remaining amount will be invoiced and must be paid within 5 days.
External CCTV operates around the Deskhaus building for security, crime prevention and safety purposes.
Any personal data captured by CCTV will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
CCTV must not be interfered with, obstructed or deliberately damaged.
We love showing people what Deskhaus is all about, so we may occasionally take photographs or video within the space. However, we respect your privacy.
Where you are clearly identifiable and we intend to use your image for promotional or marketing purposes, we will ask for your permission.
You are absolutely free to say no.
Deskhaus will process personal information where reasonably necessary to administer memberships, collect payments, communicate with members, operate the Premises, provide services, maintain security and comply with our legal obligations.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 where applicable.
We will not sell your personal information.
Members are independently responsible for complying with data protection legislation in relation to personal data they process through their own businesses while operating from Deskhaus.
Deskhaus does not offer category exclusivity generally, so businesses operating within the same or similar industries may use Deskhaus at the same time.
However, because Deskhaus operates within the coworking sector, businesses whose principal activity directly competes with Deskhaus in providing coworking, dedicated desk or materially similar shared workspace services may not use Deskhaus without our prior written agreement.
Deskhaus reserves reasonable discretion in determining whether a prospective member falls within this category.
We may occasionally need to change our membership prices or charges for additional services.
We will provide at least 30 days' written notice of any increase to your recurring membership fee.
No membership price increase will retrospectively alter charges already due.
We hope never to need this section.
For normal minor issues, our preferred approach is simple: we'll talk to you.
Where a member repeatedly breaches these Terms or behaves in a way that materially affects Deskhaus or other members, we may issue a warning and require the behaviour to stop.
However, Deskhaus may suspend access or terminate membership immediately in serious circumstances, including:
Deskhaus may also terminate membership where payment remains outstanding for more than 7 days in accordance with these Terms.
Where membership is terminated because of a member's serious breach, the member remains responsible for amounts properly due up to termination and for losses or damage for which they are responsible.
At the end of your membership you must:
Anything left behind should normally be collected promptly.
Where we have made reasonable attempts to contact you and property remains uncollected, Deskhaus may arrange storage, return or disposal as reasonably appropriate. Reasonable costs incurred may be charged to you.
We will take reasonable care in operating Deskhaus and maintaining the Premises.
However, Deskhaus is a workspace provider and cannot accept responsibility for every event that might affect a member's business.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deskhaus will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses including:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Deskhaus will not be responsible for failure to provide access or services where this results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Examples might include:
Where something significant happens, we will communicate with members as quickly and clearly as reasonably possible.
Members must take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others while using Deskhaus.
Please:
In an emergency, always follow instructions given by Deskhaus, building management or the emergency services.
Membership of Deskhaus does not create any partnership, joint venture, agency, employment relationship or other business relationship between Deskhaus and a member beyond the provision of the services described in these Terms.
Members operate their businesses independently and remain entirely responsible for their own business activities, taxes, licences, regulatory requirements, employees, customers and contractual obligations.
We may occasionally need to update these Terms because of changes to the space, our services, legislation or the way Deskhaus operates.
Where a change materially affects existing members, we will provide reasonable notice.
Minor administrative changes or changes required urgently for legal, security or safety reasons may take effect immediately where reasonably necessary.
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
If Deskhaus does not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, that does not mean we have waived that right.
Any waiver must be specifically agreed by Deskhaus.
These Terms and your Deskhaus membership are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction in relation to disputes arising from the membership, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply.
Deskhaus is never supposed to feel like a traditional office.
It's a community of people who happen to have their own dedicated place to work.
So while these Terms necessarily contain some legal language, most of Deskhaus can be summed up much more simply:
Look after the place.
Look after your stuff.
Respect the people around you.
Use common sense.
Be kind.
Do great work.
And Work Happy.
Welcome to Deskhaus.
